Meet The Transition Team

CHRIS VANDIFORD

After moving to Ohio in 2001, Chris Vandiford began providing professional guidance to dentists in the Midwest Dental Market. Chris has been involved in over 350 dental transitions, and has earned numerous work, leadership, and community awards. Chris is well known in the Ohio and Midwest market with dentists, banks, lawyers and CPA’s.

Chris enjoys motivational speaking and speaks to large groups of dental professionals and other local organizations annually. You will typically find Chris presenting to Dental Schools in the winter and regional dental conventions in the summer and fall. When he is not in front of a crowd, Chris enjoys hiking, fitness, and traveling. 

Chris is the father of two sons, Christopher and Chandler. Both boys grew up in Ohio swimming competitively and continued to swim in college. Chris’ wife, Sophia, recently joined the TransitionOne team. Chris has worked extensively with local Boy Scouts of America troops in positions of Scoutmaster, Troop Committee Chairman, and Fund Raising Chairman. Chris and both of his sons are Eagle Scouts.

Ingrid graduated from Oakland University with a degree in human resource management with a minor in computer science. She began her professional career with TGI Friday’s serving as a general manager and a profit/loss specialist. While at TGI Friday’s she was recognized as a national gold circle employee.

Ingrid’s dental career began in 1985 where she served as an operation manager for a group practice consisting of four doctors including a team of 20 employees. In 2000, she entered into the dental retail business as a hardware-software sales representative for Dentrix and dental high technology equipment covering northern Ohio.

In 2006, Ingrid formed her current company, St. Catherine Consulting. ADIA certified in Practice Management with the ICIO-ADIA organization. SCC offers clients superior service with the highest return possible to improve the day to day operations of a dental office supporting the private practice model. In 2020, Ingrid partnered with TransitionOne to assist with the purchase and selling of independent dental offices, as well as assisting with locating appropriate associates. Serving in the dental community is her passion.

INGRID BEAVERS

SOPHIA VANDIFORD

Sophia received her BA in Journalism from Georgia State University and her MS in Strategic Communications from Purdue University. She has spent the last 20 years working in the non-profit and higher education sectors. The last 10 years she worked for Wittenberg University as a fundraiser and donor relations specialist. She joined TransitionOne in 2020 as the Vice President for Marketing and Operations.

She has served on several non-profit boards and committees, including Leadership Clark County, Ridgewood School, Wittenberg Guild, Rocking Horse Center, and Springfield YMCA Swim Club. In 2006, Sophia was selected as one of the Top 40 under 40 Professionals in Springfield, Ohio. In 2007, she received the Leadership Clark County Alumna of the Year Award.

Sophia enjoys fitness and hiking and worked as a personal trainer and spin instructor for many years. She loves spending time with her family, which includes her husband of 30 years, two sons, daughter-in-laws and two cats.

Greg started his career during the Vietnam war serving in the Strategic Air Command, as an aircraft technician. While serving, he attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. After service, Greg transferred to Franklin University and worked with the Franklin County Sheriff Department.

The 1970’s presented him the opportunity to work in marketing for an international baking company. In 1985, he changed products, and has enjoyed the last 35 years working directly with dentists throughout the eastern United States. Now with TransitionOne, Greg works to bring together dental practice buyers and sellers, to help in facilitating the smooth transition from one dental generation to the next.

GREG WETZEL

KELLY SALVATORE

Kelly graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Psychology. She has over 15+ years of leadership experience in the dental industry.

Kelly began her dental career working for a full-service dental laboratory. This has allowed her the opportunity to learn the importance of dental materials, cost, and turnaround time. From there, she transitioned to territory management for a dental supply company. She assisted in budgeting supply orders, data driven negotiations and helping with new office builds.

Most recently, Kelly serves as the CEO for K-Procure, an Operations & Vendor Management company that works with dental practices throughout Ohio and surrounding areas. Her clientele ranges from Solo Providers, Multi-Location Practices and DSOs. Kelly is an accomplished presenter, influential negotiator, and expert problem-solver.
